The Terrarium ecosystem is closed and almost completely independent: however, it has to be taken care of with periodic irrigation. Irrigation times vary depending on the type of plants inside the Terrarium and the climate of the environment that houses the Terrarium.

How do I water the plants in the Terrarium?
The best way to water the plants in the Terrarium is using a spray bottle: the misted water is distributed evenly inside the glass container and prevents stagnation.
How often do I need to water the closed EDEN Terrarium?
If you have a closed Flor Maison EDEN Terrarium, you will need to water it roughly every three weeks. Please bear in mind the environmental factors of the place where you live: if the climate is humid, irrigation will have to be less often. If it is dry, you may have to water the Terrarium more frequently.

If you have an open Flor Maison EDEN Terrarium, you will need to water it roughly every two weeks. The climate of the place where the Terrarium is kept conditions the frequency of irrigation: a dry climate requires more frequent irrigation, while, in a humid climate, less frequent and abundant irrigation will be necessary.

How often do I need to water the DESERT Terrarium?
If you own a Flor Maison DESERT Terrarium, you only need to water it once a month. Succulents planted in this type of Terrarium do not require much water and, in optimal environmental conditions, they generate an ecosystem that can regulate moisture and the water cycle for a long time. If the environment in which the Terrarium is housed is very dry, it may need to be irrigated more often. If it is too humid, irrigation should be less frequent.

After watering the Terrarium, should I leave it open?
It is best to leave a closed Terrarium open for at least 24 hours after watering it. This will prevent mould from forming inside the jar. Generally speaking, you should leave the Terrarium open for a few hours every day to allow air to circulate inside.
